In-the-Saddle is the journal of an amateur racing cyclist based in London. The thoughts and observations, the loves, the obsessions, and all the other things in between.
Thanks
Thanks to everyone who has contributed to and supported the blog and to everyone who has linked, tweeted and commented. Special mentions to James Beaumont, Andy Lack, Jim Ley and Richard Walden of the Kingston Wheelers, Nick at Vulpine, Matt of The Inner Ring, Wade of Cyclingtips, Gem of Bianchista, and David of The Sufferfest.
Images & Photography
Unless noted, all illustration and photography is original material I’ve shot (or badly drawn) myself. I’ve attempted to credit all other sources, but if you’ve spotted something which you believe hasn’t been fully acknowledged, or you feel should not be used then do please get in touch. Likewise, please don’t pinch anything from this site without crediting the source!
A massive thank you to the photographers who have lent their work to the blog, including Philip Deacon, Martin Godwin, Jered Gruber, Jordan Clark Haggard, Phil Jones, Camille McMillan, Roman Skyva, and Andy Waterman.
Comments
Reading your comments and feedback is one of the things which makes this whole blog enterprise worthwhile, so please do get involved! However, due to the large amounts of spam comments this site seems to attract, the automatic filtering system can be a bit over-sensitive. So if you leave a comment and it doesn’t appear straightaway please be patient – I do trawl through the spam and approve any genuine comments (eventually!).
You may also have spotted the sharing buttons at the bottom of each post – so if you’re enjoying what you’re reading don’t forget to tell all your mates (real and virtual) about it through Twitter and Facebook and all that stuff.
